I have some extra money and want to buy Bitcoin, but should I wait?

Buying Bitcoin now won't exactly bring me financial ease, but the desire to buy it even cheaper is making me hesitate... ㅠ
Some experts say it'll drop further, while others say we've already hit the bottom... Even just a $2-3k swing up or down impacts me greatly, and as I approach my mid-50s, every penny feels so precious... ㅠㅠ

If you're someone who can't afford to lose a single penny, don't invest in cryptocurrency.

I've been into crypto for 5 years now. At first, I bought at highs and lows without understanding much, so now I just shrug whether it goes up or down. In the beginning, after buying, it would drop like 5-10%, but when I checked much later, it had doubled. Now, when Bitcoin drops, I even want to buy more and I'm waiting for the opportunity. I was happy to buy a little around 90k recently, thinking it was the bottom, but now it's hovering around 85k. If it drops to the 70k range, the downside is open, and it could even go down to the high 60k's, but you never know what news will come out tomorrow.

If the price of crypto drops by half after I buy and it doesn't affect my daily life, I can still buy in installments now. If you absolutely want to enter at the bottom, you can skip the first quarter and start buying little by little in the second quarter. You can also figure out your own tendencies and invest in a way that doesn't cause you stress. Always use funds you can afford to lose.

If 2-3 million won would have a significantly negative impact on your life... don't do it. Especially if you don't have much financial leeway, I would strongly advise against buying it.

Consider buying in installments. It might fall further, so don't buy all at once.

Although the price has dropped significantly, institutions are continuously buying and accumulating it. The United States has already recognized it as a national strategic asset, and various U.S. states and other countries are in the process of creating and passing related legislation.

Since it may drop further, it's best to develop a well-planned strategy for buying in installments.

If 2-3 thousand dollars is a significant amount of money for you, definitely don't get into cryptocurrency. And honestly, I wouldn't recommend stocks either.

Instead of $2,000-3,000, the coin price is fluctuating between $20,000-30,000. And in my personal opinion, this is a range where people who bought it at a much lower price can hold on.

Please keep in mind that this is just my personal opinion. Considering various circumstances, it's highly likely that the bubbles in assets will burst soon. If the asset bubbles burst, the cryptocurrency sector will be the first and most significantly affected.

You're better off buying stocks.
