Would selling Tesla today be considered panic selling?

My average purchase price for Tesla is $260, and I'm wondering if I should sell even for a small profit. Usually, when I'm really wanting to sell, it turns out to be a good time to buy, so I tend to hold on.
However, Elon's increased political involvement is now a variable, and it's shaking my belief that Tesla will "go up if I wait."
What do you think?

I think it's bottomed out, but...you never know. It could still go down to the low $200s. I just bought 5,000 shares of TSLL at $14.

Let's think about why you want to sell. Is it because you've lost faith in Tesla, is there another stock you prefer, or are you simply afraid of losing money? Holding onto it for the long term could allow you to sell at a higher price in the future. While Tesla is a good company, it faces several owner risks, uncertainties regarding the feasibility of autonomous driving, and other risks. Its high P/E ratio compared to other stocks indicates that the current price already reflects future potential, making it vulnerable to price drops in the face of poor performance or negative news. There are many other good stocks besides Tesla.

Think carefully. If you're confident in holding Tesla long-term (and personally, I believe you could sell at a higher price point in the future if you do), then keep it. Otherwise, sell and switch to another stock or hold cash while you wait and see. Selling without thinking it through is indeed a panic sell.

If my average price is that low, I think I'd just hold. Many people are predicting a low of $250 as the worst-case scenario. I think I'd hold, if it were me.

My average purchase price for SanDisk is high, so please advise whether I should buy more to average down and exit, or if it is better to just stay put.
