When would be a good time to invest $30,000? | |||||||||||

| Not long after starting my Roth IRA, I bought semiconductor stocks, but I panicked during the sharp drop a few months ago and cashed out everything. Fortunately, I ended up with a small profit above my principal. I have about 30,000 in the account, and I am thinking of buying ETFs like VGT or VOO when the market dips (though I am not entirely sure if that is the best option...). Is it a good idea to wait a little longer and buy when stock prices go down? Since the30,000 is sitting entirely in cash right now, I am wondering how much longer I should wait. I would appreciate your advice. Thank you. | |||||||||||
