Therefore, if you want to at least feel like you're exercising voting rights, you choose GOOGL; if you don't care about that and want to benefit from company share buybacks or target a timing when it is even 0.1% cheaper, you choose GOOG. In fact, from an individual investor's perspective, it makes no difference which of the two you buy.
