This is crazy. It looks like it's giving back all the gains from the last few days. I really regret not selling when it almost reached my break-even point with just a little more rise.

But is a rise in Treasury yields really a reason for it to drop this much? My account is plummeting. It's because I'm almost all-in on Micron. This stock is so volatile that I'm telling myself I'll never buy it again once I escape. The bigger problem is that this decline doesn't seem like it will end today... What kind of news needs to come out for a rebound? Is there even a chance of a rebound?

Yeah, you shouldn't trade stocks without looking at government bonds. Right now, the 30-year treasury yield has topped 5.3% with no buyers around, Trump shows no sign of negotiating with Iran, so oil prices are rising and inflation is expected to go up, and Japanese interest rates are rising, making the yen carry trade risky... that's the kind of market it is. Don't just look at your own stocks; look at the macro too.

Is 445 million astronomical? Even if they pay all of that in damages, it's negligible compared to the cash Micron pulls in every day. Micron is the most stable among memory companies and has dropped the least.

This week is OPEX week, so volatility is higher. I think SPY will close in the green. Semiconductors will also rebound. However, September is seasonally bearish, so I recommend reducing your position a bit after Nvidia's earnings.

Government bond yields are a big deal, that's true. Highest in nearly 20 years.. highest since the Lehman crisis. But the funny thing is.. they were high yesterday too, but yesterday semiconductors skyrocketed like crazy, and today they're falling hard... it's just whatever Wall Street feels like.

Seriously, when it goes up, I regret not buying more when it fell, and on days like this when it drops again, I worry it'll fall even more and wonder if I should just sell at breakeven TT Still, looking at how things go, won't it go back up again?
