I heard France's finances are in serious trouble...

It's going to be volatile. But the stock price is higher than it was a few weeks ago. Don't sell out of fear. After getting burned a few times, now I don't sell unless I need quick cash or am getting rid of junk stocks.

I don't know how much further it will drop, but the stock price is still much higher than even a few days ago, so right now it's tricky to either sell or buy.

In times like these, I guess you should take your profits when you can and get out. Up until now, tech stocks were the only ones rising because of AI while the Dow fell significantly, but from now on, whenever bad news about AI comes out, it seems like we'll keep seeing a pattern where AI drops and the Dow rises. Interest rates keep soaring, and since there were already many voices doubting if AI is a bubble, I think there will be a lot of overreacting over minor things going forward.

I totally agree. Everyone's investment style is different, and if you don't have much capital, it's hard to handle this volatility. People say this and that, but not everyone is in the same situation. And they say it's going to get even more volatile.

Realty Income (O) is at its 52-week low, so I picked up some around $53 this morning. Thanks to that, it seems like I got a good price point with the dividend yield slightly over 6%..

If you try to profit from dividends and the stock drops, it's no fun. If the overall stock market isn't doing well, these dividend stocks fall too.

I bought heavily into various things this morning, but now everything I bought has turned into a bloodbath. I really should have bought them in the afternoon.

I went all in yesterday ㅠㅠ

It's like walking on thin ice these days. Things are good for two or three days, then shaken up again by an unstable situation.... Then, if good earnings come out, things are good again for about two days....

At times like this, it seems like trading is the only answer, just like last July.

They say it's because of OpenAI. Apparently, the revenue is very different from what was originally known.

It feels like the legendary dot-com crash I've heard about. All sorts of dot-com companies soared frantically, looking as if they would open a new world with new technology, but once the lid was lifted, every single one had negative earnings, followed by a string of bankruptcies. Elon was boasting that he's running an investment campaign worth tens of billions for an unprecedented bulk purchase of Nvidia chips... but seeing why the world's richest man is trying to take on massive debt again, it makes me wonder if a global cash liquidity problem has hit.

It seems like the Russian plague is pretty serious, according to yesterday's FOMC minutes they plan to raise interest rates a few more times this year (even though there isn't much of it left), and last night's Samsung earnings were really bad. Inflation, raw material supply chain disruptions, issues in production lines for both chips and memory... and so on. Slowly dropping, surging up, then plummeting sharply while hitting lower lows is a classic bear market pattern. Despite bad news piling up, it hit an all-time high, but that was just the last fireworks display, and now it looks like it's going to head down for a long time.

If you go to Finviz, major issues appear on the main page: Middle East issues + 10-year Treasury, soaring oil prices, and OpenAI revenue—these three negative factors all hit together in a single day.

At this point, well, since it's a reason that happens all the time, won't it go back up again in a few days?
219.**.252.238
I was wondering why it wasn't going down when it had always been there, but it seems like the big players behind the scenes have finally finished their preparations while keeping it moving sideways all this time, and now it's going its own way.
34.**.130.32
It's not from an exact source, but I've been hearing talk since a few weeks ago that the big players are liquidating.

I bought a little bit of SOXL, but if there's a major reason behind it, I might have to sell it again.. Fortunately, I sold a lot yesterday so there's less pressure, but it's dropping scary fast.

Semiconductor stocks are dropping a lot, and it's almost back to my principal. Should I sell??/
