Let's talk about SOXX and SOXL.

People are saying that SOXX will break past 566 and go over 600—do you all see it that way too? (Or anything you've heard from YouTube or other sources...) I have 30 shares of SOXL bought at 158–159, with an average cost of125 and a total of 220 shares. (I lowered my average cost by selling 80 shares bought in the $140s.) Since SOXX's next target price is said to exceed 600, I'm wondering if I should hold even those 30 shares bought at the top—what would you do in my position?

  1. Trim some for now and carry 190 shares?
  2. Or, since my average cost is $125, hold all 220 shares for the medium-to-long term?

Please help me think this over. Also, I'd appreciate it if you could share your plans and up to what price you plan to hold SOXL.

I don't know about SOXX, but for leverage like SOXL, I always take profits when given.
