Yeah.... it make sense to me as well.

If they don't raise interest rates this time, the likelihood of bond yields skyrocketing will increase. In fact, that could be even worse for the stock market or the real economy. I think they will raise them.

They will raise them, but they'll likely speak very cautiously about further hikes.

When they raised interest rates at the July 26, 2023 FOMC meeting, the market actually didn't waver much as it was an expected(?) event, and it even went up to an ATH by the end of July. Then, there was a correction after the release of the FOMC minutes the following month, the reason being that the content of the meeting was quite hawkish. A September interest rate hike is inevitable, but they will likely continue to speak cautiously for the sake of market stability(?)... (since they have to consider(?) Trump's stance too...)

If you're in your right mind, you should raise it.
