They say interest rates are going up, but why are stocks rising?

As expected, Wall Street does whatever it wants.
Last year, they made such a fuss about rate cuts and sent stocks skyrocketing,

now they are driving up stock prices, claiming that a rate hike is actually good news. Haha. I wonder if institutions are going long just to squeeze out the shorts because there are too many short positions...

This stock market makes no sense at all.
Oil prices crossed 100, and the 10-year Treasury yield approached 5%, hitting a peak, yet the S&P and Nasdaq just ended flat... It really looks like nothing more than a trap to shake people out.

They were saying on Ohsun that there were fears of a rate hike this time and another one next time, but because the latest data suggests it might just be a one-off, the market seems to be viewing it as good news hahaha. Seriously lolol I guess the market just has an angle it wants to see things from, and once it decides to think that way, it just moves accordingly.
