Those people with large assets on YouTube who recommend all kinds of things like individual stocks, day trading, and options—their own portfolios are actually set up like that. They're just playing around with active trading using a very small portion of it.

My individual stocks are all in the red too T_T (they make up about 30% of my portfolio... *sob*) Thanks to the index ETFs I bought, I'm keeping my composure and buying the index little by little when it drops.
The thought suddenly occurs to me that 20 years ago, Vance probably didn't know he was destined to become the Vice President of the United States and have his stock portfolio disclosed like this. It seems like there is such a thing as destiny for people.
There is no reason to aggressively use things like leverage when you have a lot of money. People dreaming of hitting it big flock in when they hear semiconductors are good, flock in when they hear Bitcoin is good, flock in when they hear pharma stocks are good... Because of that flocking, they go bust in flocks...
Sigh,, I must be crazy.. To think I put 70% of over 4 million in assets into individual stocks and blew 1 million in just a few months.. Starting now, I resolve to clean up my portfolio. At least to make sure VOO is 50%..
Once you go over a few million, you should invest to avoid losing money rather than to make it, but I was so foolish..
