This is the person who shocked the market by writing an extremely negative "Winter is Coming" report about the semiconductor industry that was poised to do well in 2024, cutting Hynix's target price in half... only for semiconductor stocks to soar right after, as if to prove him wrong. He wrote another negative report early this week. It happened a few days ago, but it's bound to have a negative impact on the market. Why does this guy keep shaking things up periodically like a problem child? Back then, there was also a lot of talk about how Korean brokerages mindlessly get swayed by foreign brokerages' reports, haha.

Pessimists are wrong every single time, yet they remain pessimistic to the very end. Then, when they get it right once in ten years, they make a big fuss as if they are someone great. Because a market crash happens once every ten years, even a novice investor will get it right eventually if they just keep pushing pessimism.

Morgan Stanley isn't the only institution out there, so don't blame him too much. Even though other institutions have released outlook reports projecting Micron to reach $2,200 and SanDisk to reach $3,000 this year, no remedy is working in the current semiconductor market climate.

I heard Morgan Stanley wasn't able to participate as a bookrunner when SK Hynix listed its ADR. Could they be grumbling because they're sulking?
