For those who have been holding PLTR since the IPO, what are your plans?

| I have held PLTR ever since it went public. Even when it was mocked with the nickname "Run Away Quickly," I just left it alone.
Since then, it has gone up a lot. It has been stagnant lately, but when I think about back then, I am glad it has grown so much.
I have just been holding onto it because I had no urgent need to sell and use the money, but lately, I have been thinking about selling it and switching to dividend stocks instead.
I am 70 years old now, and I think it would be nice to live a bit more comfortably in my retirement with the dividend income and also give some pocket money to my grandchildren.
I am currently just holding onto it because I hate the idea of generating and paying taxes after selling, but is this a case of letting fear get in the way of doing what is necessary?
Should I keep holding PLTR just because of the taxes? Tags: IPO PLTR
