Palantir average cost of 170. Is this what pure gambling feels like?

I don't have many. Just 40.
I suffered for a really long time with an average price of 170 and told myself I'd sell once it hit 170.

Human nature is so fickle. Now that it's fluctuating between 169, 170, and 171,
I keep going back and forth on whether to sell or not.
I wonder if this isn't gambling, what is.

Anyway, I'm just really glad to be breaking even.

The earnings won't be bad... Market sentiment is an issue, but there are also the midterm elections, so I decided to just hold until at least December...

It's riding an upward trend, so it would be a waste to sell it now. What are you planning to buy after selling that? Are you going to buy another one at the peak and stress over it again?

Wow.. It was trading sideways for so long that I sold half of my 330 shares, and I regret it so much. ㅠㅠ I really should have held on and endured ㅠㅠ 😭 I really wish I still had that share count, seriously. Right after I sold half my Palantir and dumped all my Microsoft, both of them shot off like rockets.

Since it's a company I believe in, I didn't really stress out even when it dropped. You seem like someone who has a hard time dealing with losses, so I recommend selling. In my personal experience, after gapping up on earnings like this, it often keeps going up. Snow also surged after its last earnings and is still going up.

You should also consider selling and getting out.. Or maybe just sell 20 and get out, because if it suddenly plummets after that.. ㅠ.ㅠ

Your average price is too high. If you can hold out well, keep it. Otherwise, sell half and average down. The choice is yours.
