I was sitting at my kitchen table this morning, casually sipping my coffee and reading the news, when I stumbled across Iran's official proposal for reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

Honestly, I haven’t seen a list of demands this ambitious since my seven-year-old nephew wrote his letter to Santa.

According to The Guardian, to get the water flowing smoothly again, all the US has to do is:
- Pinky-promise to never threaten Iran again and permanently end all regional hostilities.
- Pack up its entire military, lift the naval blockade, and politely leave the neighborhood.
- Pay "complete compensation" for war damages.
- Lift all sanctions and hand over every penny of frozen assets, no questions asked.

I’ve got to hand it to them—you have to admire that level of confidence. That’s not a peace negotiation; that’s a "winning the lottery" wishlist!

Trump hasn't done anything right either, but for it to be balanced, Iran must also explicitly state that it will no longer support groups behind terrorism.

Because if a peace deal isn't reached, they'll just attack again in six months.
It goes right back to the beginning, like a squirrel running on a wheel.
US attacks, Iran attacks neighboring countries, closure of Hormuz, rising oil prices, global economic decline..... repeating all over again....

It's true that the US started the war, but if they agreed to stop it or whatever, both sides should abide by it. Iran broke it first, so now, just because the US threatens them verbally, is Iran really going to just say "yes, sir"? Iran is a total thug as well.

Dumbass Trump. If he had just threatened them, Iran would have chickened out and caved in, but he started a war instead of just threatening and couldn't even break even, tsk tsk.
