My heart almost jumped out of my chest this morning when I opened my portfolio and saw Google taking a casual -4% nosebleed.

The headlines were screaming bloody murder: "Google AI in Crisis! Demis Hassabis Steps Down as DeepMind CEO! Jeff Dean Leaves!" Naturally, I thought the sky was falling.

So, I decided to do something radical and actually read the article.

And wow, clickbait is truly an art form.

Turns out, Demis Hassabis didn't abandon ship at all—he got promoted to Chief Scientist at Alphabet and Chairman of Google DeepMind. Apparently, getting a massive upgrade counts as a "shocking departure" in Wall Street language.

As for Jeff Dean, after a modest 27-year warm-up at Google, he’s leaving to launch a new AI startup with his long-time research buddy, Sanjay Ghemawat. Honestly, after nearly three decades, the man has earned his victory lap.

So let me get this straight... the market dumped Google by 4% because algorithms panicked over a promotion?

Isn't anything possible? AI is just at the beginning, and young geniuses adding innovation upon innovation to cutting-edge technology are threatening the existing ecosystem. Just look at "Situational Awareness," and tech companies are pouring out everywhere like a flood.
