I accidentally bought 100 shares of Apple at 337. When should I average down?

So, it turns out Past Me set a clever little trap, and Present Me walked right into it.

I completely forgot about an old limit buy order until my broker sent a friendly notification today: "Congratulations! You just bought 100 shares at $337!"

Surprise! My bank account is lighter, and my portfolio is suddenly packed with shares I didn't even remember shopping for.

Now I'm standing at a crossroads, staring at this accidental investment. Do I double down on Past Me's brilliant surprise and average down now, or do I just sit quietly in the corner and wait for the market to forgive my short-term memory loss?

A few days ago, my order for Google at 330 started going down in the pre-market, so I canceled it, and while I was waiting to see at what price to get in, I missed it, which is just ridiculous. Why do things keep going the opposite way lately?

You must have placed the order thinking that price was cheap, right? If you just leave it alone, it'll go back up. Because it's Apple. The price is super cheap right now, so average down.

I also accidentally bought 100 shares of Intel in the past, and fortunately, right after that they announced earnings and it shot way up. That's when I realized there really is luck in stocks too. OP, try just leaving it alone as well. Apple seems to go up inversely to semiconductors.
