More than 594 Bitcoins were stolen from a hardware wallet called Coldcard.

It seems Coldcard is a cold wallet that only stores Bitcoin. I heard there was a bug in the wallet... so multiple user wallets (about 500 air-gapped wallets) were drained.

Since this wallet is Canadian, I don't think anyone here uses it...
I use a Trezor, but I still checked just in case to make sure my funds were safe.

Bitcoin dropped a bit this morning, so maybe this wallet news had an effect on it too.
It was kept in a wallet to store it safely, but seriously...
I saw reports from victims on Reddit as well.

They said if anyone is using this wallet, they should move their funds to a different wallet.
Sigh... The coin price dropped, and now even bad news like this... ㅠㅠ

Honestly, I'm so shocked. I thought Coldcard was the ultimate cold wallet, but a hack? Seriously, there's not a single one you can trust. When quantum computers come out, I feel like hacking issues will become even more common, so who would want to put their funds in a cold wallet? Looks like a lot of people will move to Bitcoin ETFs.. while spot Bitcoin becomes scarce.. They say even right now, Bitcoin is being hacked from Coldcards at a rapid pace.. It's scary...
