I just marked my calendar for the morning of August 5th, and honestly, my morning coffee suddenly feels completely unnecessary—the raw excitement (and slight panic) over LLY earnings is providing plenty of caffeine.

I’ve been watching Eli Lilly like a hawk lately, and as D-day approaches, I find myself stuck in that classic investor limbo: are we about to pop the top-shelf champagne, or am I switching to generic instant noodles for the rest of the month?
