I'm not writing this to discuss Tesla's stock price specifically.

Elon Musk's recent political actions have caused a lot of controversy, but honestly, that's already common knowledge (and nothing new in the stock market). News like the June robotaxi announcement, the sudden announcement of BYD's "Eye of God" system, and Tesla's FSD progress in China...
Given the ongoing US-China tech war, I don't think China will completely destroy Tesla. Even if Elon Musk and Trump have a falling out, this is a matter of national interest, so they won't destroy the company out of pure emotion. Just like the US and the Soviet Union's aerospace race, the semiconductor and AI battles are crucial and can't be ignored (I heard this on YouTube).

With the huge potential of autonomous driving, BYD is aggressively pursuing Tesla. Rep. Kim Jun-seong (who visited China and experienced it firsthand) said, “BYD's autonomous driving is similar to Tesla's three years ago.”

I read a post from someone who made money shorting Tesla, and they had a negative long-term outlook (I don't know who they are, as they rarely post here). I disagree with that opinion.

They claim Tesla has no leading-edge technology, but I believe Tesla's autonomous driving technology is nearly complete. Five years ago, when people said Tesla would have self-driving cars soon, I was skeptical. But five years have passed, technology advances rapidly, and even if companies like Nvidia form alliances to build cars, electric vehicle manufacturers face significant losses. I also believe Tesla will play a major role when the robotics market significantly expands.

As I'm writing this, I'm realizing it's mostly information from YouTube and books. Haha. Anyway, I own a moderate amount of Tesla stock.
Having seen Nvidia plummet from $300 to $100 and then rise tenfold, my personal opinion is... after this significant correction, once Tesla's robotaxi service starts generating profits, we'll see a substantial price increase. This is just my personal speculation, so please disregard it. ^^

Damn... Are you still buying Tesla?

I've accumulated 370, 360, 350... up to 300 shares, but I can't bring myself to buy at this good price.

I bought a bunch when it broke 380, thinking it was a good deal, but now I'm sick of looking at them. Are you still buying now?

Ugh... It finally hit 200 shares. I couldn't believe it would happen.

It was like a midsummer night's dream for several months. I should have sold when it was high.

We invested in Tesla for its future, right? Let's give it time and wait. I believe there will be a day when it brings us joy. I don't like Elon's current antics, but I still can't find another company as revolutionary and forward-thinking as Tesla. The volatile stock price is nothing new.

Tesla is absolutely not a stock for long-term investment; it's strictly for day trading. The current poor performance and negative outlook are being masked by promises of future success and dreams, creating a volatile stock price. That's why the graph is so erratic.
There are too many YouTubers claiming that stubbornly increasing your holdings while everyone else is critical will eventually yield huge rewards. However, suppressing your anxieties through these YouTubers and focusing solely on accumulating shares will only trap you. This underlying anxiety is why Tesla shareholders are often overly sensitive, aggressive, and quick to post rebuttals.

Never fall in love with a stock. Even if a stock is failing, ignoring critical viewpoints and focusing solely on optimistic opinions will lead anyone to believe any stock can multiply tenfold.
Tesla repeatedly shows a pattern of sharp price increases followed by equally sharp declines. Only those who skillfully utilize this pattern for day trading are profiting.

Tesla's stock price is down, and Elon Musk just needs to stop with the politics and shut his mouth. I think we'll have to wait another 10 years to see any real gains.

Are there only one or two pieces of good news? But the stock price is falling drastically. It's agonizing.

1. Full Self-Driving (FSD)
2. RoboTaxi - They say it'll start in earnest in the second half of 2025, but... when exactly?
3. Solar energy & Megapack - There's expectation of long-term profits... when exactly?
4. Low-cost model release planned... But with all the political maneuvering and rocket launches, when exactly?
5. Optimus humanoid robot (This is the part I'm most anticipating profit from... when exactly?)

Anyway, they're drastically lowering production costs, and GROK3 is connecting to Tesla, so there's a lot of good news... Wow... this is really tough. I wish he would just focus on Tesla and shut his mouth. He's so incredibly brilliant, but it's overwhelming. He's making too many enemies worldwide, and if something happens to him... wow... a Tesla without Elon would plummet. I really wish he'd think about his shareholders!!!

It's a good opportunity for those just starting out or increasing their holdings, but for someone like me who maxed out years ago (3-4 years ago), it's a tough time (I'm stuck...). It's a good opportunity for short sellers. This feels similar to when Elon Musk bought Twitter and laid off 80% of the staff, drawing immense criticism. This time, it's the government, and the entire nation (plus Europe) is watching, making the hatred ten times worse. I hear he's receiving death threats, and I'm genuinely worried something might happen to him.

I'm also a long-term investor with that same belief. I've decided not to sell until 2030, so I vowed not to worry even if the price dropped, but seeing this sharp decline is making it a little tough. And then seeing someone constantly posting malicious comments is really making me angry.

I highly admire Elon's willingness to take on the difficult and unpopular tasks as Trump's right-hand man. Who else would shoulder that cross? It's work he's doing for America.

Tesla has now successfully entered the long-awaited Chinese market with FSD, and it will soon expand into Europe and then Asian countries like Korea and Japan. The future looks brighter and brighter as we approach the end of the year and move towards 2026.

A YouTuber in China demonstrated that BYD's autonomous driving system is inferior to Tesla's. Honestly, with the current rate of updates, I believe Tesla will achieve full self-driving capability within a year. Even now, I can travel for 2-3 hours with minimal intervention, making me doubt that it could be behind Waymo's geographically limited robotaxi service.

Many experts believe that Tesla, with its massive data accumulation, will be far better at handling unexpected situations. They argue that Tesla's data, encompassing a wider range of scenarios, is currently the most advanced.
