It's unsettling to see someone who told us to hold VOO for life acting this way. Would Nancy Pelosi's stock portfolio be a better predictor?
I'm so frustrated with the political climate and the way the world is going lately that I'm considering selling everything, converting it to cash, and putting it in the bank. But even that doesn't seem safe with fluctuating interest rates; it's all so frustrating.

Just because Buffett sold VOO doesn't mean "the American market is over!" VOO, an S&P 500 ETF, remains a suitable product for long-term investment, and Buffett himself recommends it for individual investors. In fact, Berkshire's increased cash reserves suggest he might see the market as overheated and is waiting for better opportunities.
