Since the index barely dropped, it seems only semiconductors took a train to hell.

So what sectors and stocks are currently going up right now?

A stock that doesn't go up much, but on the flip side doesn't drop much either and is very stable—that kind of stock?

Berkshire and almost all the Canadian stocks I hold are up. IBM is also up over 5 percent today.

Earnings are coming up soon; for now, the bankruptcy rumors have passed, and while there might be expectations regarding sales and shipment volumes, it seems unlikely that the structure of operating at a loss despite sales will change. Short sellers heavily increase their short volume whenever the price rises, so I think we'll have to check the change in short volume that gets updated in a few days for this rally as well.

My average purchase price for SanDisk is high, so please advise whether I should buy more to average down and exit, or if it is better to just stay put.
