When I brought up value investing, PER, and so on on this board, everyone called me old-fashioned and gave me a lot of flak, asking who invests based on those kinds of indicators these days. Only time will tell who is right.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of retail investors mindlessly engaging in blind speculation has increased significantly, and I feel this stock forum has also become polluted. There are almost no posts analyzing corporate performance, finances, or business prospects, and there are far too many beginners who mistake odd-even speculation on whether a stock goes up or down, or trash like leveraged products, for long-term investment stocks. Posts that used to analyze companies with a decent long-term perspective have all disappeared, and it feels like only gamblers resembling baccarat addicts are left. They've been continuously recycling 1980s jokes like "Since I bought it, it will crash" and "Since I sold it, it will skyrocket" for the past few years.
